Luke Kwon: When Sleepin' it Real Goes Wrong

Here’s the TLDR on the Luke Kwon saga. The Internet Invitational (played 3 months ago) has finally dropped. Luke Kwon (a top 3 player in the field) was paired up with PFT Commenter (arguably the worst player in the field) in a 2 man scramble. Kwon is apparently so good that they were a lock to win their match anyways, except Kwon couldn’t get his ass out of bed for a 9:30 tee time. Okay, no big deal! Surely when he showed up he was remorseful and a great teammate - wrong! He (in the highly edited video) didnt apologize until long after and continually beat down his partner, who played 2v1 for the first 4 holes of the 9 hole match.
Okay, that wasnt a great job with TLDR. It’s too ridiculous to try and summarize in just a sentence or two.
PFT took the high road in all of this. Probably figured trying to get through to a tool bag the level of Kwon wasnt worth his breath. He showed his colors before even playing with PFT, probably just meeting for the first time when he said “we’re not using any of your shots”. Funny enough when Kwon did show up, they used PFT's shots multiple times in the 2 holes he played before their match was closed out.
My final thoughts are that if he would've shown up late, apologized immediately and taken the smallest bit of accountability this would have been a nothing burger. But he didn’t, or at least the edit did him dirty, and the internet golf world is talking about it like crazy. The first episode of the Internet Invitational has almost 4M views in 2 days, so they did something right. Either way, he came off as a huge dick in the video but he’s probably your typical Country Club Cocksucker. More stories gave since come out about him sleeping in and missing shit dating back to his days at Oklahoma, so he clearly hasn’t learned or doesn’t give a shit.
Lastly as a guy who knows a thing or 2 about sleeping past a tee time, dont blame being in Norway recently. It’s always and forever the Fireball shots. People will forgive a drunk guy way faster than a lazy, tool bag that can’t get out of bed.
